This is the home for videos with the Taiganet WeatherStar 4000 emulator featuring a user-made flavor known as "IS" (IntelliStar) since it is close to a flavor of the current IntelliStar computer. Get the emulator at this thread at the WeatherStar 4000 Emulator Support forums from Taiganet:

http://www.taiganet.com/forum/ index.php?s=bffd2887eef1fef198 89384e78126246&showtopic=275

You can also post bug reports that might come your way using the program to help make it better!

You need Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 to download the emulator first.

In additon, to join the increasing number of YouTubers making emulator videos, you need software that captures the emulator in action! The most often used one is CamStudio. It is used most because it is the only free. Get it along an additional codec at:

www.camstudio.org

The CamStudio program is, again, 100% free!

I now have an additional account to bring you MORE emulator vids!
Visit my backup account at the address below!

I am an anime fan and have been since 1997 with the introduction of Sailor Moon (i regret that now) and Pokemon. I am all over the board with my favorite anime. I watch dubs and subs just for the hell of it! Let's keep the anime train movin' forever more! I'm also a rabid fan of The Weather Channel and it's WeatherStar 4000 Computer! Kevin!!! Earthquake or no?
AnimeGuyfromHavelock| August 05, 2007
I am thinking the area will be Chicago, IL or Oklahoma City, OK. And also, due to the radar loop defect, replace "Local Radar" to "Current Radar" on all flavors.

Also, two other websites for the emulator:

http://www.weather.gov/om/osd/portal.shtml (for ASOS ID)
http://www.aprs-is.net/wx/NWSZones.aspx (for NWS Zone 3-digit codes)

In order to download the software, you must have Microsoft .NET 1.1 framework. To make YT videos, visit camstudio.org to download CamStudio, the ONLY free screen capture software.

Look at the top of the radar on your logo for three letter (i.e. MHX on mine) then on the emulator, on the radar code area type K then the three letters, pick your area of focus, then save the changes then save it to list.

You can find your local radar on the forecast page @ weatherdaddy.us (look at the radar portion) (you can find everything else you need as well) as well as your local weather service office page at nws.noaa.gov (click on your area on the map on the front)
