About Korea Animal Rights Advocates
Korea Animal Rights Advocates (KARA) is a volunteer organization located in Seoul. We campaign for animal protections and work with no-kill shelters.
Unfortunately, Korea has a very poor animal welfare reputation and weak and ineffective animal protection laws. In general, animals are not given much regard and the general public is uninformed about animal issues.
KARA works constantly to educate the public, raise awareness, and lobby government about ethical issues surrounding the treatment of animals in Korea. Through this we hope to bring about lasting change.
Animals deserve to live their lives free from tyranny and suffering.
