This channel is dedicated to Apalachian Chief, a healthy 14year old TB Stallion, incarcerated in a garage for 8 months, without any regard for the suffering the horse endured. The OSPCA & two veterinarians condoned his treatment, and declared it suitable and adequate. Chief was rarely mucked, watered, or fed. His hay was mouldy, his bedding a thin scree on a solid smooth concrete floor. Apalachian Chief never went outside for exercise. Do you think this is suitable and adequate for a horse?
According to the OSPCA's press release, as of Nov. 3, 2010, this horse was in suitable, adequate, legal circumstances for all of his eight months in the garage. This horse was re-located by his owner to an unknown location, November 27, 2010.
