[PLEASE READ FIRST!!] Copyrights: Treasure Planet, The Little Mermaid and Hercules belongs to Disney; Sinbad belongs to Dreamworks; Music belongs to Placebo. The only thing I own is my creativity.
I made a happy ending to this! Are you guys happy now? lol
Now here's the hard part: the story.
It's pretty much explanatory. I hope you understand it.
Story:
Ariel and Eric are lovers but that didn't last long after she gave her soul to Hades to save him. Jim worked at the palace and he fell in love with Ariel the very first time he saw her (in the bath tub when he was trapped in the room). While the wedding was happening Jim wanted to comfort her but he didn't have the courage. Then one day they were hanging out.
Ariel never understood how her father disappeared. Before Hades took her away, Jim confessed to her that his father had something to do with her father's disappearance. His father, Sinbad, told Hades where the sea king is. If he didn't Hades would've had his soul.
Ariel was furious with him and told him to leave her alone. And that was the last time he ever saw her. But that wasn't the only deal his father made to a god. Sinbad went to Eris and knew for a fact that she would love to know what Hades is doing so she can ruin everything for him. After thanking him Eris gave him her word that she'll do anything for him: to protect his son and make sure he'll live a happy life.
In her prison Ariel is lovesick. She terribly misses him. So seeing her down Hades knew that it has something to do with a guy. He doesn't want his little pet to think about anyone but him.
Away on a ship, Jim couldn't stop thinking and/or dreaming about Ariel. One day, while Eris was watching him, Jim began practicing on his solar surfer so he can save Ariel from Hades' clutches. Doing him a favor, Eris pulled a thread and it released Ariel from her prison to go find Jim. Hades saw her escape and thought up plan. When she found him he had no idea that she's right there until Hades summoned a whirlpool and trapped her inside, using her as bait so he can get his hands on Jim.
[SPOILER!!!!! READ AFTER YOU'VE WATCHED THE VIDEO!!!!]
Playing the hero, Jim reached out for her but Hades hit his hand-made solar surfer and made him fall right back on the ship and blew it up. Before that happened, Eris saved Jim's life. Jim crept up on Hades and sent him plummeting in the depths, which released King Triton. Hours later Jim woke up in a strange but familiar place. Ariel watched him walking from afar, wanting to follow him but couldn't. Jim returned home to his mother and celebrated his return. To his surprise, Ariel arrived and she had two legs. He had a hunch that a certain god did the favor. And sure enough, he looked over the shoulder and saw Eris staring at him, feeling uncomfortable being out of her box, helping mortals.

Post-Disney World Mickey love + boredom + back to internet speed at college + desire to vid overvidded songs = this.
I have had this song sitting in a file by itself for a long time because I wanted (and still want) to make a Phineas and Ferb video to it. *waits for the idea to now be stolen* XD But I wanted to randomly vid Mickey, and I was going to do a lovey-dovey video with Mickey/Minnie & Donald/Daisy (because apparently, when I do that, I get over 100,000 views...whut), but I couldn't find any inspiration for that, so...I just went with pseudo-epic-looking Mickey clips.
This song just makes anything look epic, though.
Love that my thumbnail is Donald. I can't believe it's uploaded before I finish the description.
Anyway.

Because everyone knows Liv can't resist the MEP group renaissance that is emerging.
In all honesty, I was inspired by Disney World. I mean, you meet characters like Mickey and Donald and get sad that you never see them vidded regularly. THEY HAVE NO COMMUNITY! Plus, they were showing Robin Hood on our last day there, and I got the same sad feeling of never seeing it vidded.
They're in between—they're not Animash because they're more human than just animals, but they're still animal-shaped, so they're not Non/Disney either. They're a community in and of themselves, and they deserve some fame.
So, rules for auditioning:
-Any video you've made in the past two months
-Any program [duh]
-Over 20 seconds
-Be committed to vid anthropomorphic characters
I'm still not sure what my limits are, but for now, any animated anthropomorphic animals are welcome. I don't have many of these types of movies (the ones you see in this vid are basically the extent of my personal collection), but I'd love to see things like Robin Hood, The Rescuers, Great Mouse Detective, Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, Fievel Goes West, Secret of Nimh, Winnie the Pooh, and the like.
We don't want just talking animals (i.e. The Lion King or Fox and the Hound) because we don't want to step on the animashers' toes. They are awesome and a community in and of themselves. We want characters that are animals that have human characteristics, such as standing on two legs and wearing clothes (although, again, as shown in the video, that is not a requirement).

It's a bit of a complicated community, which is probably why it has no big fanbase on youtube, per se. But I'd like to see us start to try. :) There's so much not-often-vidded footage in there that I think it might be fun for us to branch out. If you have any questions, ask me.
PyroFey and disneydork57 have already agreed to help me out with this, which is great since we know I run too many groups as it is. But I really felt the need to help fill a niche that has yet to be filled in this community. :3
I don't know of a deadline yet because I don't know the level of interest this will get, if any. Just let me know if you're at all interested. I'm still working on a yt channel and forum, but I'll get them started as soon as I see if anyone at all even wants to do this. :)
Give me awhile to get back to you—I have horrible timing because I'm going back to college tomorrow, so I won't be available for a bit. But hopefully I can keep up. I still need to go watch my video from mepp30 (to whom you should all subscribe btw), but I think I'll hold off on that until I get back to college, Mich. :) Just uploading this in the middle of craziness...

READ BEFORE WATCHING:
WHAT?! A new, COMPLETE crossover from Shade?!
Crazy, I know. This one's been around for a really long time, though I've never uploaded a preview of it. In fact, it's been sitting at about 90% done for about 5 or 6 months now. I worked on it on and off, but one of the biggest reasons why I didn't complete it earlier is because I've been avoiding writing this very involved video description. V.V'
I'll try to be as brief as possible though. Here are some mostly technical-based things you need to know before watching:
-The "Lucy" in the song is Shanti, not Jasmine, though this isn't made completely clear until the second verse.
-Scenes with blurred edges (both colour and grayscale) are usually flashbacks.
-Grayscale and coloured scenes with light rays and clean edges are flash forwards of what could've been.
-Don't expect any other new crossovers any time soon, (except for maybe the pitched version of Stained since I feel bad for not posting it yet :P) even if I do have a bunch that are over 50% finished. I'm trying to write a novel XD Feel free though to keep track of my live-action work on my EternallyxShade channel, since I've been uploading stuff fairly regularly...mainly because those videos are usually a lot less work lol.
READ AFTER WATCHING (TO AVOID SPOILERS):
This is the real life story that inspired the song "Lucy" and this video:
"[It's] a story about a young girl and a young guy who found themselves in a hard situation. They didn't know what to do when they found out that she was pregnant; they were young, they didn't have any money, they were scared, they didn't want to tell anybody, they didn't know what to do, and the only option that they could see was to terminate the pregnancy. So that's what they decided to do... they went to a clinic, they had the procedure done, and at first they felt relieved that all their problems had gone away. But then something happened that they did not expect... and that's over the next few weeks, which turned into a few months, they began to feel an intense sadness... and a pain and an agony and a guilt that wouldn't go away. They didn't know what to do, so they finally went to see a counselor; they said look — tell us what to do, we just don't know, and the counselor made a suggestion. The counselor said here's what you need to do — stop acting like you had a procedure, and act like you had a death in the family. So the couple went home and they made three decisions; number one, they decided to have a funeral service for the baby; number two, they bought a tiny little headstone; and the last decision to make was what to name the baby. After a couple weeks they finally decided they would call her... Lucy."

I didn't strictly keep the facts of the story. I find that no one really talks about the fathers of the aborted, so I wanted my video to focus on Moses instead of Jasmine. He's the one who pressures Jasmine to have the abortion, when what she really needed from him was support. There's a little nod to Jasmine as the end of the video though, since I wanted to imply that the story continues on from her perspective.
Other stuff:
You may have noticed the comments and ratings are off. That isn't because I'm oh-so afraid of people pounding the dislike button or posting nasty comments. (Let's get real; I'm used to that) It's because, for once, I want people to really watch and really listen to what's going on in the video without concentrating on what they're going to say/do to reply to it. Likewise, this isn't a video I want constructive, technical feedback on or praise for (even though I love ego-pumping comments as much as the next person lol) because I don't want the focus to be on me. Also, I will not be reading/replying to any emails about this video, so don't bother messaging me unless you have a story to tell (I've already received some emails from some amazingly brave, beautiful individuals) or you or someone you know is in this situation and you need some help. Except when my friends and I are playing question games. I think we talked about it in our vlog. How we can't answer Jesus because he's the answer to everything. :) That way when we get to "Who do you most admire?" or "Who do you most want to be like?" we have to pick our second answer. ;D
