About Me:
Angela Lao grew up in a high-literate family. Her Mom, a teacher, used to support her at any time through her life of art creation. Angela started drawing simple pictures at two when her Mom held her hand with a pencil. She also enjoyed making handicrafts during primary ages since her Grandma taught her to use needle and thread, and then knitting. She could sew dolls and made a dress for herself at the age of only eight. When she was in middle school, she loved English and writing comics so much. Her Mom encouraged her to publish a comic book, and that started her life of publishing. At 15, She published "Natural Farm", which was written in English with Chinese translation, all works done by herself. After high school graduated, Angela studied design at Macau Polytechnic Institute. She learned many skills of film making and book editing which letting her to have a dream of being a movie director-scriptwriter. Besides that, her English teacher influenced her a lot and pointed out many of her grammar errors which she used to believe that is right. She also light up her interest of music. Excluding English, movie making and graphic design are learnt in schools, Angela is a self-taught painter, singer-songwriter and toy designer. She continually to create at least one artwork each day so that would make her happy all time. She does believe that her life of art would never end even it is her next life.
