About Me:
I am also a debuting author; my newly released CD "Remember Who You Are" is accompanied by a 130-page book titled "Remember Who You Are-the Story Behind the Song". The book contains the stories behind each song found on the CD. The Book&CD are now listed with Chapters/Indigo in Canada and Barnes and Noble in the U.S.
You might ask "Why a Book with the CD?" As a child I always loved writing about all that came to mind; I still do. However, writing music was not something I thought possible, as I had never done this before. Nevertheless, I always had a strong desire to write my own songs, so I decided to turn the stories that I had written over the years into songs. I started by translating the essence of each story into the form of lyrics. Then something amazing happened: the lyrics dictated the melody as if the song had already existed within the story. Here I realized that when we follow our passion, the final outcome has a life and rhythm of its own. Whatever it is we are trying to accomplish, the passion behind it will give the final product its own melody. The book represents my expression of what I believe we all are: pure, passionate and loving spirit, forever ready to unravel unlimited possibilities...
In my spare time I love reading books on alternative medicine and enjoy teaching my daughter (and myself) how to play piano! I also love gardening and fashion - I have been designing my stage outfits since I was 14 years old, including the dress I am wearing in the background picture of this page:)
