Marti's decision to sell her horse to purchase a car has left her friend Angela in a quandary. As a result of the pending separation and divorce of her parents, Marti in desperation develops a relationship with Clay, a stranger who introduces her to a substitute for prayer and promises to make her wishes come true through the power of crystals.
One evening people Marti had given crystals to mysteriously disappear. A series of fast moving dramatic events begin: mists, levitation, and eerie lights announce a spiritual battle between an angel of light and an angel of darkness battle for supremacy.
