Hi, I'm Angela Carole Brown, a singer/ songwriter and artist. Thanks so much for stopping by my channel!
I've got loads of videos of music performances, both past and present, conceptual music and art showcases, meditations, and videos of personal and human interest.
I've also favorited some videos from my honored stint as lead singer in Linda Taylor's politically and socially charged band Threshold, and as "The Fabulous Miss Thing" with Elvis Schoenberg's Orchestre Surreal, a 25-piece orchestra of the most strangely wild and innovative music you'll ever hear, guaranteed!
I've been doing this music thing for a long time, recording voice-overs, movie cues, jingles, and CDs for myself and other artists, including Josh Groban's hit single "You Raise Me Up" and for South Park's Matt Stone and Trey Parker; and working theatre, clubs, concert halls, television, and radio, in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, including the lead in L.A. Music Award's 2004 Best Rock Opera, "Symphony of the Absurd," and my Off-Broadway, one-woman show, "The Purple Sleep Café," at Primary Stages' 45th Street Theatre in New York City.
As a songwriter, I've composed songs in both the jazz and alt-folk veins, which are featured on my recordings, as well as right here on YouTube.
It's been a fantastic rollercoaster ride, and a blessed life.
I hope you enjoy what you see and hear, and will perhaps consider subscribing, leaving a comment, and/or spreading the word.
Here's to the spirit of fostering the tenets of a sharing artistic community.
xoxo
