I'm on a shadow cast of "Repo! The Genetic Opera" (2008), which means that the movie plays on a screen while the cast performs it with props and costumes on stage and in the aisles in front of an audience. The cast is "The Degenerates" (degenerates.webstarts.com) and we perform in St. Pete Beach, FL, at the Beach Theatre (beachtheatre.com) every few months or so on a Friday night. I usually play Blind Mag in that show, who was played by Sarah Brightman (a famous soprano) in the movie.

I'm also on a shadow cast of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show " (1975) that performs at the same place, the Beach Theatre, every Saturday night. The cast's website is www.rhpsip.com. They feature video entertainment and "de-virginizations" of the newbies, or "virgins" before every show. They frequently host theme nights, like Beach night, Zombie night and many more. Some shows even feature live music from local bands. I started performing in 1996 and, except for a year and a half off, I've been on the cast ever since.

I live in St. Petersburg, FL with my fiance, Craig, and our dogs; a Chihuahua, Lily, and a Maltese, Katie. I've been disabled since 5/2006 due to back problems and I've since been diagnosed with several other ailments (such as rhuematoid arthritis, sleep apnea, Lupus) but I still try to live life the best I can by performing in these shows. It takes days to recover from even just a few hours of movement or even just sitting, so I keep my activities to once a week and am basically on bed-rest the rest of the week.

Another interesting thing about me is that I had gastric bypass surgery in 2006 and lost 139 pounds in less than a year! I'm 5'4" and went from 254 (at my heaviest) to 115 pounds! It's been over 5 years since the surgery and I've only regained 10-15 pounds, even though I'm disabled and unable to exercise *at all* and my diet is definitely not a healthy one. I can't eat much, though, and I can't absorb a lot of calories due to the 6 inches of intestine they removed, so I guess that was enough to help me keep me from gaining the weight back. Everyone says they can't believe I used to be that big!
