Here's my experience at the IDEA Fit Expo 2011 at the Los Angeles convention center. I was trolling around the IDEA fit Expo and hit up the Indo board booth where I connected with Sean Croxton from Http://www.undergroundwellness.com and Josh Trent from Http://www.wellnessforce.com and we did an Indo board workout with some kettlebells while tracking their pulse rate with the Scosche myTREK http://www.scosche.com/mytrek?ih=AABD... It is amazing how High the Pulse rate gets while using every part of the body to do work! Josh Henkin from http://www.ultimatesandbagtraining.com came over to do a workout using the indo board and his sandbags for weights. Very cool and innovative workout here! From the Indo Board booth, I went and connected with Faith Jay Daniels http://www.faithjaydaniels.com at her x-pert Pole Fitness booth where she took me through a workout on the "fitness pole." I then connected at the TRX Fitness booth http://www.jdoqocy.com/fp65kjspjr6C9F... with both Randy Hetrick and Frankie Addelia from Http://www.coachdos.com and http://www.jdoqocy.com/fp65kjspjr6C9F... . Frankie and I have tons in common. Pretty cool to meet up with him. I then came across a dude doing a handstand -- and it turned out to be Amir from http://www.infinitystrap.com so we had to discuss. Very cool dude, super cool tool he has put together for all you YOGIS out there. Upper Body Strengthening for Better Posture
Here are the main exercises I do usually 2 to 3 days per week to improve my posture. I usually do 10-15 reps of each and 3 sets. These seem to work for me, but your situation might be different. Consult a physician before attempting any of these exercises and Jon Ham is not liable for any injuries that might occur.
The Posture Correction Exercises are: TRX Row TRX Letter W TRX Letter I Dumbbell Bent Over Reverse Fly Prone cobra
I find that when I do these exercises regularly, my neck, back, and shoulders feel really good! And that's after having my neck fused 10 years ago! Along with this, I do other strength training, cycling, table tennis, and stand up paddle surfing. All of this combined are part of my active lifestyle and make me feel good!
