@351974gordon24 Not a great movie, but a good one. If you read Clive Custlers book, the real crux of the story is missing from the film. If they could have captured the true spirit of the original story, that would have been a brilliant film.

Have a count of the coaches. Load 7 + POB = 8, not 9. 5029 would really struggle with 9. Look at vidfs of Bincombe, and Evershot.

Just to be pedantic, 5043 was not working the 'Collett Express' at Olton, it was working the ECS to form the 'CE'.

The lighting at Old Hill was almost sureal. Looking back over the tender of 4965 at 5043 pounding up the hill, with the low, yellow sunlight created a very strange effect. I wish I'd taken a Camcorder to capture it. Would have made a very interesting video.

There is one simply and straightforward reason for 6 coaches (5 if you don't count the support coach). Too many people took photo's and videos and not enough people bought tickets.
