I have changed my centers of interest in the past; but I always remain somewhat interested in my former pet subjects. I have been interested in astronomy, programming, music (esp. guitar), movies, history, psychology, mathematics (esp. probability theory and statistics), football (though in terms of numbers, statistics and rules rather than practising the game itself), foreign languages, law, traffic law and geography. To a certain degree I'm interested in fundamental philosophical and religious questions; I'm reading the Bible from cover to cover and plan to do this with the Koran. I play chess, I'm a chess arbiter and sometimes a voluntary helper at chess events.
