Hi ... thanks for the comment. I find Fischer Random to be extra interesting, given its origins, and that it has GM level games. I'm going to be watching your videos on Xiangqi. I was in Beijing in 2011, and, after seeing the locals playing everywhere, picked up a pocket set.

This is a great channel. I am an amateur player both international chess and Chinese chess. Recently, I started playing Japanese chess as well. The variations on the original game are interesting.

Hello! I love your website and your videos! Thank you for explanation of how to play different chess variants. Will you do videos about some other chess variants (I'd love to see Chaturanga with for four players, and Bughouse chess seems to be very interesting too)?
By the way, those sets you show really amazing! Especially one from painting by Lucas van Leyden, I guess it's the most beautiful set I saw!

Hi me again one more question, in the future do u think that international chess will be the only chess in the world still avantly played cause I have been doing some reasearch and some chesses have all but died out for example shatar.
