Man this is tight. Love the lagniappe you're throwing in. Your rhythm is tight and really drives the song.
Okay this is easily one of the most creepy video/soundtrack combos ever. Totally disturbing and will give me nightmares. Brilliant work on the music, it is highly effective and perfect with the different scenes in the vid. Kudos.
Can't believe no one responded. This is a great story. You guys sounded great but the Wizard of Woo coming in at the end is totally unbelievably awesome. That had to be a life changing experience.
Hey Hyperdust, first of all nice playing. The Bach sounds great on your two Moogs. Do you really like the Moog Old School or are their times you're been frustrated with it? I'm asking because I want a Voyager and love the way the OS looks but feel that the lack of MIDI might hurt, I don't mind the presets as I have a Lil Phatty for gigging. I really want the OS bu it might be like when I bought a Ducati and had to make a road trip. I wished I got something practical instead of sexy. Moog OS=Sexy
Bravo Phoenix. The backing was outta sight. The moog lead patch al little agressive for me but great playing and I came around towards the end. Nice work and set up.
Holy damn does this thing sound rich, like melted butter on top of a rib-eye on top of a cheesecake on top of a bed of hot buttered popcorn melting into a gallon of Haagen Daz.
I had never heard of this synth before... ...knew about the OB-X and DMX and Matrix but this was before my time, but oh man does it sound great. A bit impractical but it is lush beyond belief.
This is funny. Nick keeps bringing up the fact that it is called a Jupiter but doesn't really even have a good VA section and The Demonstrator keeps saying "ahh but it is a Jupiter, Jupiter doesn't mean Analog Synth, it means cutting edge technology." Well maybe it means that to Roland but to Everyone else it means Analog. This is just a rompler with a Gaia thrown in but with no interface. People were ripping DSI about the Prophet 08 but at least it is in the same category as the old Prophets
Nice work. This is one of my favorite songs on the record but really the whole album is great. Great feel. I wish I could play with a drummer of your quality.
Well now you're forcing to me get the bassline and lead coordinated and tight. Up 'til now I wasn't worried about it since our bassist will be doing the left hand. To post a video with me just playing the right hand part would be pus. So I'll have to get it together first. I'm surprised that only you and that guy with the hammond are the only guys on youtube with this awesome song. By the way, I'm kicking it on a Nord C1 like yours. I love it. Peace.
Why did you take off the side rail and unscrew some stuff on the bottom? I couldn't see what you did there.
The video is helpful, but makes it look hard. With all the crazy equipment this guy can probably fix NASA stuff. I swapped my U12 to a new PCB on my dead drive this weekend. Soldering iron, frustrating. Tried a Wagner Heat Gun that I used to remove some stubborn linoleum a few years ago, worked like a charm to remove the U12's. Reattached the U12 with a regular iron. The only problem is the heat gun heats a huge area and everything falls off. I made a heat shield out tinfoil kinda like he used.
