The punk/venue thing sounds pretty awesome ^_^
Do you think you could send me any links or anything about how to start a zine or tips on touring?
If you're going to get acquainted with Kant, I suggest you read what other people say about his work before you actually read it. He's the type that uses a lot of technical lingo in order to say something fairly simple.
As far as college goes, you can go or not go, it's up to you. If you can afford it i'd say it's worth the investment, even if you never use your degree. For instance i'm going and intend to live in a van for a good many years, without doing any actual jobs (living free of government intervention). If I can manage to get a phD it'll be even more rewarding.
I'm more of an ethics person. Politics mostly only interests me on ethical grounds, as does religion. Of course, anything dealing with absurdities and paradoxes I seem to be rather fond of as well.
Community College is cheap and easy to get into.
So, out of curiousity, ever get into any philosophy?
