First of all, "nation" or rather "nation-state" is a term coined in the 18th century. Applying it to a Buddhist state around the 2nd century is a bit far-fetched, not to mention misguided.

I feel that if he ever happened to know something about say, the pied-noirs (ethnic French population of Algeria, who were called back to France after the Algerian war of independence), he would've been able to write a song about that. Or basically, anything. He's just that amazing.

From what I understand, Boyd Westen is actually a pretty good interviewer. However, he was informed at the last moment that he was supposed to interview Rick Danko, so he comes across as somewhat of an ass, but that's probably because he was very nervous himself.

Nice to see so many self-declared scholars of islam commenting on this page. It's really good to know that we have people like @Bidelox and @sbkmotox having studied Islam so intensively they know all the particularities of the religion. That's really comforting to know.

En Jezus, wat is het toch met al die zelfverklaarde experts en islamologen bij mensen die op YouTube reageren. Soms heb ik echt het gevoel dat basale kennis van de islam in zijn totaliteit ontbreekt. Beetje jammer.

@CannibalNecroPorn: Nice name. Also kufar is the plural, kafir is the singular. Saying "I am kuffar" would be saying: "I am nonbelievers", which makes little sense.

Suggesting that God hates kufar is attributing a human emotion (hate) to him and as such is shirk.
