As you asked, (I couldn't find the comment on the vid to directly reply) bestiality comes from an inherent urge to connect with nature. It's often sparked by a fear of loneliness and an overdeveloped "appreciation" for nature.
In olden times (Notice the pattern here?) animals were often regarded as equal or better than humans, and so having sex with them wouldn't be an issue because they were your social equal etc.
