@tnoutdoors9 I had the Ruger SP101 with the 3" barrel. Good quality but it is very heavy and bulky for only 5 shots. I sold it and got a S&W 686 plus with a 3" barrel. Only a few more ounces and a little extra size for a more comfortable grip and 7 shots. Good Luck.

@sprky777 Cut shells were used by hunters before Foster slugs were invented in the 1930's. You could find yourself in a situation without any other shell than birdshot. Might save your life if you can kill big game with them.

Dave, I was wondering if you grew up reading Loius L'amour novels. My grandfather gave me many as a child and I've read nearly everything he wrote. Many of the things I see on your videos, I read in his books long ago. I've just loved the outdoors ever since. Thanks.

@redmunkee A .357 WILL NOT shoot .380 or 9mm in MOST revolvers safely. Slightly different diameter. 9mm is .355. The cases are not rimmed.

@eliteblast That's Cosmoline, a very good protectant, but hard to get off completely. A good bore cleaner will remove that stuff, but you want to do it outside over an empty box. Makes a mess : - )
