American Wildlands is the N. Rockies corridor group, working to keep wild life traveling wild lands through wild corridors. Wild animals have favorite lands for foraging and breeding, often within some of our most beautiful National Parks, Wilderness areas or National Refuges. But to remain healthy and strong, wildlife must travel between these areas. They travel corridors, vital lands that are subject to human development, the interruption of fencing along ranchlands, of highways and oncoming vehicles, and other obstacles that may prevent wildlife from moving through the land. American Wildlands is all about keeping those corridors open and keeping wildlife, like bears, elk, lynx, wolverines, bighorn sheep and much more, alive and well on the Northern Rockies landscape.
