Here I was minding my own business playing Trombone with stride jazz piano legend Mike Lipskin a cpl months ago at San Francisco's Pier 23 club, on the waterfront...In walks a group of friends from Marin, offering a Manhattan, and out come the sticks from my horn case.

You know how it is: Someone says, "Aw, c'mon - play a little drums!" - with no drum set anywhere. So, one thing leads to another, and here 'ya go....
