I'd like to add to that. One angel did profess to be like God named lucifer. We know what happened to him. So why would God allow a mere angel to be called Michael which means "who is like God". It's obvious that Michael is Jesus.

Michael = who is like God
Arch = chief
Angel = messenger from God.
Michael the Archangel is a messenger of God who is like unto God Himself.

It's not simply saying that michael is just one of the chief princes, but that he's first or highest of
danpants24 (3 days ago)
The word one in that passage is the Hebrew word "echad", which also means first.

Daniel 10:13 "............then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia. " NOTE: one of the chief princes meaning there must be more than one chief prince,if it was supposed to refer to God/Jesus the scripture should have been " The Chief Prince"

I have also read your book Who is Michael the Archangel and you make some very good points but I still think its Michael who will come with Jesus and Jesus will even command Michael. That how I read it in the KJV. I am very careful not to fall into false doctrine but at the same time I don't resist reproof.

Now Michael does sound like in Daniel ch 12:1-5 That Michael will be coming with Jesus. But in the New Living Trans it does sound like he is Jesus but I think thats wrong. In the KJV this is what it says-Da:12:1: And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Now if you notice it says stand-up, the great prince not Stand-up the great prince. Its talking about Michael will uphold stand beside The Great prince.

Lu:16:19: There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
Lu:16:20: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
Lu:16:21: And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
Lu:16:22: And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Lu:16:23: And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Lu:16:24: And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Lu:16:25: But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

DEAR Pastor Dauglas Bachelor, too much Preaching is too tiring to you or to your Wife. Where is your song for your Wife? Did you get a chance to write one yet? When are you going to Sing it? Any Pastor should have at least One song for the Lord, One song for the Wife. WHERE IS YOUR SONG, I WANT TO HEAR HERE.

Nearest the throne are those who were once zealous in the cause of Satan, but who, plucked as brands from the burning, have followed their Saviour with deep, intense devotion. Next are those who perfected Christian characters in the midst of falsehood and infidelity, those who honored the law of God when the Christian world declared it void, and the millions, of all ages, who were martyred for their faith. And beyond is the "great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, . . . before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands." Revelation 7:9. Their warfare is ended, their victory won. They have run the race and reached the prize. The palm branch in their hands is a symbol of their triumph, the white robe an emblem of the spotless righteousness of Christ which now is theirs. {GC 665.2}
