I joined youtube to hear different opinions, and learn new things. I am a free thinker who opposes dogma in all of its forms. I appreciate all people who are earnestly seeking the truth.

At the age of 15, while in Jerusalem, I had an experience that brought me to faith in Christ. I soon became a biblical literalist, and believed that the Bible was the inspired and inerrant word of God. A couple of years ago, I read Thomas Paine's "The Age of Reason", and I began questioning and scrutinizing all of my beliefs. I watched all of the religious debates here on youtube, and I realized the muslims, jews, agnostics, and atheists also had many valid points. To put it simply... I lost my dogma.

I am now in my 30s, and I have more questions than ever! That is why I am here... to ponder and discuss these issues. My objective is neither to condemn, nor convert anyone. My only goal is to break down the walls of dogmatism which prevent honest inquiry.

I decided to make my screenname a Palindrome, which is a word that is spelled the same forward and backwards... because I see adherence to any form of "DOGMA" as the equivalent of one saying I "AMGOD." Not in the sense that one believes himself to be the Almighty, but rather the belief that his or her knowledge of such matters is impeccable. Most people don't recognize the dangers of becoming dogmatic.

(DEFINITION: Dogma — the established belief or doctrine held by a religion, ideology or any kind of organization: it is authoritative and not to be disputed, doubted, or diverged from.)

Dogma often leads to bigotry!

(DEFINITION: Bigot — a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices.)

Has dogma managed to close your mind, and corrupt your thoughts? Think about it; PEACE!
