I'm essentially a multimedia artist. I like to draw, especially, and the art pieces featured in my songs/on my shirts in the videos are all designs I drew. I am a poet and a writer, and I adore many different sorts of literature. Eventually, I decided to turn my poetry-writing skills into actual songs.

The songs are essentially about the art. The art is always a sort of character, and is either singing or being sung about. I'm like a narrator, except more kooky. And I sing.

Fairytales, mythology, and various fantasy are some of my favorite subjects to draw, write about, or read up on. Thus, my music is generally focused on fantasy-type settings.

EDIT:

People have been asking me recently: "What's up with that floppy-haired Shadow King guy? Why is he in so many songs?"

His name is Seth, and he was named after the Egyptian god of Chaos. My response is that the four songs in which he is featured (King of Shadows, Fatal Attraction, Beautiful Dreamer, and Phoenix) originally started as four story-style poems, and are all interconnected.

As a small summary, the story essentially goes as follows:

King of Shadows: Introduces the character of Seth. He's something of a tyrant-like warlock, and upon spying a fairy in his crystal ball, decides to steal her from her realm. The song is essentially about lust and how bad it can be, in that, in the original poem, he decimates the Fairy Realm at the end.

Fatal Attraction: After he has taken the fairy. This is from her point of view, and essentially describes her feelings towards him and how they begin to shift as she recognizes his true nature.

Beautiful Dreamer: Seth begins to have nightmares because of his guilt. His "darkness personified," the snake-haired gorgon-like creature, is the singer of the song. She essentially torments him; eventually, he begins to have strange and haunting visions even in the daytime, whenever he is around the fairy.

Phoenix: This is by far the saddest song, as it originally was the final and saddest poem. Desperate to repair what he has done, Seth attempts to return the fairy to her realm. In the poem, however, he was too late; she had run out of magic by being separated from the realm too long, and perished in his arms. Before departing the mortal world, however, she transferred her powers to him, hence why his art in that song features wings. At the end of the story, he is mentioned returning to the Land of the Fairies in order to fix the destruction he has caused.

The other four songs are completely separate characters in separate realms which have nothing to do with Seth's story, hence why they do not feature him. If anyone is curious about those, feel free to mail me; I don't want to make this too long. xD Thank you, however, for reading my explanation.

As a side note, being the composer I am, I can't actually read notes, or really even play an instrument. Oh the irony. Everything you hear is basically from my head, and the piano-playing is on a light-up Casio keyboard that I recorded for the background music. So don't judge them too heavily on the background music; I'm aware that I am no Beethoven when it comes to instrumentals, and probably will never be.
