Research, sewing, technology, travel, photography, cooking, avid amateur Blixa spotter ;) -- really too many to name here!!

Movies: Se7en, Bladerunner, Clockwork Orange, Momento, Sublime, Marillion's Brave, Hammer films, Fur, Harold and Maude, Mira Nair's Kama Sutra, Shallow Grave, The Wickerman (the original, thank you very much!!), Dario Argento films, European horror, documentaries, very varied taste in film. TV: rarely watch if ever, so much more to do. I have one guilty pleasure and that is Project Runway because I sew, I do like a few TV series on video, however, such as: League of Gentlemen (BBC), Monty Python (BBC), and Kids in the Hall (CBC).

Again, really varied but I do have some favorite artists (this is not a conclusive list and in no particular order): Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Einstürzende Neubauten, Gary Numan, Siouxsie and the Banshees, NIN, Landberk, Hedningarna, Garmarna, Gjallarhorn, White Willow, David Sylvian, Interpol, Malicorne and Gabriel Yacoub's solo work, Porcupine Tree (all their eras from spacey to hard), and so many more ... I wish to say that Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' The Carny is one of my favorite pieces of music on this earth or any earth ... so full of savage beauty and orgiastic intensity ... simply perfect!!

Fave books: Geek Love /Katherine Dunn, And the Ass Saw the Angel / Nick Cave, Gormenghast / Mervyn Peake, In Siberia / Colin Thubron, The Lost Heart of Asia / Colin Thubron, anything by Tanith Lee and Angela Carter. Fave authors: Tanith Lee, Angela Carter, Mervyn Peake, Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Thomas Ligotti, Michael Wood (the historian), Colin Thubron (his travel books)
