Altrina Renee is an R&B singer/songwriter recently dubbed the "First Lady" of IceH20 records, the new label of Raekwon "the Chef" of the Legendary Wu-Tang Clan.
Altrina was inspired early on to become a songwriter after hearing Mary J. Blige's "Whats the 411" album. She could relate to the pain that Mary expressed in song and was drawn to the unique way she combined classic-soul with hip-hop, a concept totally new to that era. Altrina was sure from then on that she wanted to create her "lane" with this style of RnB.
In 2001 she landed a production deal for songwriting and switched her focus to writing for other artist. It wasn't long before Altrina landed her first major placement with the song titled "Girl in the Picture," which made RCA Recording artist Mario's first album self entitled 'Mario'.
Altrina was introduced to the world as a feature on the record "That Good Good" found on Raekwon's new Mixtape "Unexpected Victory," released on January 1st 2012. The album also includes her first single "FaceTime", Co-written and produced by BlockStars Production Studios & Mantiz. Altrina Renee represents that "feel good music".
