RAD Retro Reviews exists for a number of reasons:

1.) The most popular retro game videos on YouTube would have you believe every retro game sucks.

2.) Retro games are awesome. The fact that we can enjoy them in the 21st century is... awesomer? Yeah, awesomer.

3.) Retro games are RAD, hence the name of the show.

4.) Because not all retro games are ones for retro consoles. Yes, updates are made, and sequels are made to. Who will review such games in a retro mindset? Uh, I guess we will.
