Hey my names Jesse. I am 19 years old and I love playing music.

Hello Youtube Community! Welcome to my channel. Enjoy my videos comment and subscribe if you like what you see. One thing to keep in mind on my youtube channel is while metal music is my passion and my favorite genre be open to other types of music. If you don't like a band or song I play comment on my playing or don't comment at all. I'm full of surprises so expect a little bit of everything on my channel. Keep an open mind! :D

Every now and then I get questions on what amp I'm playing through. And for my youtube videos I don't use an amp. :O
I use a real nifty thing called the Line 6 Tone Port. It's pretty much a digital amp that you have to install onto your computer. It's really awesome! It has everything, different amp types, cab types, effects, a tuner, a metronome and more!

The kind of set up I have on the Tone Port is an 1989 Eightys Amp Type and a 8x10 Classic Cab. For those of you wondering what my settings are they are as follows:

Drive: 8
Bass: Full
Lo Mid: 7
Hi Mid: 10
Treble: 10

Every now and then I'll use a Screamer effect. (See from videos Whoever Brings the Night to Ashes to the Stars. Also my Hail and Farewell to Britain video.) And I just half the Drive, Gain and Tone knobs at half.

Also every now and then I'll use a chorus effect and to be honest my settings on it change frequently. I change it depending on the tuning I'm in or to wherever I feel like it. :P

And for you gear nuts my actual set up! (Just because)

My Amps:
Acoustic B200H Head
Acoustic B410 Cab
Fender Rumble 60 Watts. (Don't use it that much anymore. Only for certain band practices and jam sessions)

My Acoustic amp and cab (No effects) has only made an appearance in my first two videos. I Want you Back by The Jackson 5 and I Saw Her Standing There by The Beatles.

My Pedals:
Boss Tuner
Boss Super Chorus
Boss Digital Delay
Morley Bass Wah
Sans Amp Tech 21 Bass Driver

My Basses:
Geddy Lee Jazz Bass modified. I have a hipshot installed on it, a black pick guard and Dimarzo pickups. Highly recommend the Dimzarzos!
DGN Custom Flying V Bass (Out of order as of right now)
Jay Turser Violin bass. (Used in I Saw Her Standing There video)

About why I wear the gloves: I hate saying this but I get some comments about the gloves I wear while I play. First it's not for style I hate wearing them, I have them for a medical reason only, I have carpal tunnel syndrome and the gloves a wear are made from Infrared material. It helps relax the muscles that usually tighten up while I play. It helps me over come it. I don't use carpal tunnel as an excuse for attention. I honestly never think about it and forget I have it because I've learned to not let it hold me back. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Tabs: I tab out all my songs by ear on paper so I can look at it as a reference until I have the song memorized and won't need it anymore. I don't look at the sheets while I record my videos. If I feel I don't know a song well enough to record I won't until I have it memorized. If you want the tabs I'll write them out on notepad and send them to you through email or youtube messages. Which ever is best for you! It takes me awhile to get tabs written out because it's a long process and it takes hours to do. So if you want the tabs really bad consistently remind me because I forget easily. :)
