Imagine a brunette and blue eyed teenage girl, only 15 in 1964 when the Beatles came to America. She has a flashlight in her nightstand drawer and a Beatles book and is looking at pictures of Paul McCartney long after her parents told her to go to bed. As soon as she gets home from school, she runs into her room to listen to her favorite songs as she dances her heart away, and screams so loud that her neighbours tell her to shut up. Now, put her in the 21st century and here I am! I'm a Beatlemaniac if there every was one! Without Paul, I'd die! I know every word to every Beatles song (no I'm not obsessed!) I adore everything, and anything involving the Fab Four. But hey, if you're parents met in line waiting to buy Paul tickets, wouldn't you too? :)

How I became a Beatles fan:
Some people remember their first song, or the first time they saw them, but I just can't remember a time that I DIDN'T know and love the Beatles. My parents met in 1990 waiting in lines to see Paul at RFK Stadium. 4 years later they had me. My mom tells me that she used to play Beatles songs for me and by the time I was 5 I knew all the words to all of their #1 hits! I can remember playing my mom's Beatles records in my basement. In my 5th grade diary, I wrote that my favorite thing to do in the whole world was listen to the Beatles. Now, my love for Paul has grown. Sure, I always loved his songs, but now that feeling has blossomed into deeper meaning, a feeling more pure, more scared... dare I name it... can it be love? So that's my story. It may not be too interesting, but that's why I'm a Beatles fan: they were always there...

When you try to sneak Beatles references into conversations in hopes that you can change the topic to The Beatles, even when the people you are talking to don't like the Beatles.

When the first question you ask when you meet someone is, "Do you like The Beatles?"

When you're riding a bus and you and your friend start randomly singing Beatles songs as loud as you can and pay no heed to the many exclamations of, "SHUT UP!!!"
