@jes3636 , I am sorry about you brother. I am assuming that he lost his life in war defending the rest of us. I will do my best to always help others and save lives. The reason that I can do this is because people like your brother and the others who serve give me the freedom to do so.

I do not understand all of this hate. Really. Why do wars start (anywhere)? Because of the us and them syndrome. There is no them...only us. There is nothing wrong with being proud of one's country and heritage no matter where we live. At the end of the day, we are all just people doing the best ...

I completely understand that people are upset with the government's actions, that is why our founding fathers left it up to he people to keep the government in check. Please do not be confused between loving this country and government. Our soldiers deserve respect and admiration as they do a job...
