About this user
I am part Roma [gypsy], part Native American, with some European ancestory [probably Irish].
The Romani ancestory began in Geoergia in the Soviet Union in the 1400s. They scattered though Europe and came to this country by way of Ireland and England primarily.
My great grandmother was Backfoot. She was born on the Trail of Tears by the banks of the Big Sandy River. She was left behind with her mother, and small sibling[s]. My grandfather was part Cherokee. There were some Shawnee and Creek in my family who met with other tribes lead by Tecumseh on the last real battle against Boonesburough. I had relatives that were marched to a reservation in the Dakotas and registered as Lakota Siuox and Canadian Cree.
I embrace my Romani ancestory, the Celtic side, and the Native American. I have said that I have the luck of the Irish, a soul of a gypsy, and a heart of the Native American.
I am a Christian. I do not feel that my ties with mysticism is contradictory to my Christian beliefs in any way.
I collect angels, Native art, and stones and crystals. I like doing arts and crafts, making jewelry, nature, walks, & camping out.
I feel closest to the Creator when I am at one with nature. It never ceases to amaze me to be surrounded by the beauty that God created. I love being out outside in secluded places alone, or with small groups of friends.
I have 4 pet birds, an Amazon Parrot and Indian Ringknecks. I have 2 dogs, a Rott, and a coonhound mix. I feel a special bond toward the wolf, raven, bear, and mountain lion.
