Is there any documentation for the effects of this movie? I am wondering are the slugs fake, animatronics, etc. or actual real slugs? How did the filmmakers get them to move so fast (Close up shots) and also get them in such mass quantities like the scenes on the floor, etc.

@TheDarkDuck93 Haha I know I was thinking the same thing. I love his work, but his character are all flat, with sort of very basic story plot lines. Would like to see him do a totally different style that is more in depth sometime.

@java31403 Haha I know that salad part was freaky...I always carefully inspect any fruit/vegetable before eating it lol. Seeing the black thing getting chopped up with the slime oozing out was creepier then the actual gore it seemed.

@MorriganAtwood I never understood it either! I've watched this movie before when I was young and wondered the same thing, that is never explained.....i always figured it was some ghostly voice, yet we never hear who the voice is....strange, spooky!

This is such an amazing scene, and i think alot of people can relate with wanting to communicate emotionally with parents before they die, yet it becomes too late.
