I hate glue traps. I work at a grocery store and whenever I see someone buy them I always tell them that a regular snap trap is better. I also try to ward people away from poisons. I don't understand how anyone could argue for glue traps in place of snap traps. Awesomekideli- your arguments are i...

The wolves that were eaten were trapped in snares and then killed. Trapping alone should be animal cruelty. Disgusting.

This is a great video. I think you can also mention that if people (like me!) are sqeemish to pull the head, a pencil or screw driver lengthwise behind the head works too. Lucky for me, all my snakes eat frozen thawed, so I hardly have to kill my own! :)

A mouse every 2-3 weeks is definitely not recommended. This mouse is too large (which you recognized) and smaller mice are extremely fatty. You should only offer a pinky/fuzzy every other month.
Yes, mice are high in calcium, but that's why you gut load and supplement the insects.

That size will only work for babies. Adults need an enclosure that is 3 feet long, 2 feet deep, and 4 feet tall minimum. Bigger is always better though. Mine is 4 feet long, 2 feet deep, and 6 tall.

@Stickanimator2000 NO. You can maybe put one in there for a few months, but they're arboreal animals. My NG frilled is in a 4 foot long, 2 feet deep, and 6 feet tall cage. The minimum size cage for a NG is 2x3x4, since aussies get larger you'll have to have a little bigger.

I sure hope that you only fed him that mouse because it was small and could not bite back. A snake that size should be eating a LARGE rat at least every week to ten days.
