I was going to be a teacher. I always loved working with kids. I use to help my younger siblings with their homework. After I graduated high school, I was going to go to university and major in education. After I got my own place, and a job, and after all my debts were paid off, I was going to find a wonderful woman to marry. Then three years after we married, we were going to start a family. However, all that changed when I realized that I didn't want to marry a woman, I wanted to marry a man.

No one likes a sob story, but that's what my life is: One big sob story. Beaten for not being the straight child they wanted, for liking boys and not girls. Kicked out of the house for getting caught kissing my best friend, instead of the girl next door.

The only one who understood and cared was taken away from me by violent haters who paved the road with his flesh and bone. I was next on their list when I was caught running towards them wanting to stop the fight. After being abused in more ways than one could imagine, I was left for dead.

My eyes opened to bright lights shining all around me, while my body laid broken on the table in a hospital. Doctor after doctor, nurse after nurse came in the room checking to see if I was still alive. After walking out days later, and finding out that I was kicked out of the shelter, the nearby park became my new home.

My nightmare had just begun.

If this is what it means to be gay, then you can take it, because I don't want it.
I had dreams. I had hopes. Everything was planned out. I had everything planned out. But no, I had this . . . this curse thrown on me. Cast on me, made into a second skin, just for me. It's a curse. It's a F**KING curse. I wanted to do so much. But I have nothing. No home, no family, no friends, no money, no job. NOTHING!

It will never get better.
