Alexandra Marie was born and raised in Carol City, FL. Her sophomore year in high school she moved to Lake Wales, FL where she graduated from high school in 2003. After graduating high school, she moved to Gainesville, FL to attend the University of Florida. While there she was a reporter, weather person and News Anchor for WUFT News 5 and began her radio career doing news radio for WRUF AM850. Shortly after, she was given the opportunity to put her skills to work in Urban Radio as a weekend personality for WTMG Magic 101.3. She graduated from the University of Florida in Spring 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications/News. The summer after graduation she began doing Mid-days for WTMG in addition to weekends, and became known as "The Mid-day Mamcita." She is currently still doing the Mid-day show and weekends for WTMG and she is in her second year of law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She plans to receive her Juris Doctor and eventually venture into acting and the practice of entertainment law. Alexandra Marie founded a non profit organization in January 2009 to mentor young women called "Mamacita's Senorita's.
