Οι αρχαίοι Έλληνες ήταν άνθρωποι οι οποίοι λόγω της μοναδικής γλώσσας και πολιτισμού τους κατάφεραν να ανακαλύψουν εργαλεία, φιλοσοφίες και τεχνογνωσίες οι οποίες ήταν πολύ μπροστά από την εποχή τους.
Και αυτός είναι ο λόγος που τους θαυμάζω τόσο πολύ.

After seeing this comment on a video I realised how true this fact is so I decided to post it on my channel:
Arguing on the internet is like climbing an oak tree and arguing with the squirrels.... it may pass the time....but thinking you're going to sway opinion only leads to frustration.... here people run the gambit from mildly stupid....to full blown ignorance...bordering on absurdity...with a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face....
The FYROMians claim to be descendants of the ancient Macedonians but how can they be that way since they don't even speak the same languange with the ancient Macedonians (they speak a bulgarian dialect) and they dont live in the area of the Ancient Macedonia but they live in an area that Alexander conquered, like Bulgaria,Turkey,Iraq, and Iran, it's completely paranoic, its like saying that France is Ravenna (Italian province) it doesn't make any sense! Actually
the true name of the region they reside is VARDARSKA why can't they accept this and be peacefully?

Amyntas(Αμύντας):Defender (Amynome(Αμύνομαι)=Defend in Greek)
Alexandros(Αλέξανδρος)=the protector of men(Alex(Άλεξ)=Protector Andras(Άνδρας)=man)
Archelaos(Αρχέλαος): the leader of the people (Αrche(Αρχή)=authority/leaders
Orestes(Ορέστης):the one who sees everything(the watcher, Orasi(Όραση)=Vision in Greek)

And every other Macedonian name has its Greek etymology.

In Greek mythology, Makednos was the eponymic ancestor of the Macedonians. R.S.P. Beekes claims that the morphological analysis make- (root) + -dnos (suffix) is impossible in an Indo-European word and that it is more likely that the word has a Pre-Greek origin. For those that might misunderstand: Pre-Greek means a language spoken in Greece before the arrival of Greek speakers and therefore does not have a Greek etymology. This language was not written but it still can not have any connections to the people calling themselves Macedonians today since their alphabet was created by the bysantine citisens Kyrillos and Methodios about 2 to 3 thousand years later than the Pre Greek language, and the creation of their alphabet allowed them to move south and reside in the areas today called Fyrom and Bulgaria.
