Laila got chicy and Maks got funky Look at her footwork...she never missed a step! I loved this dance!!!

This dance IS the reason I'm a big fan of Maks. He KNEW he was up against a deadline they weren't going to make, yet he still choreographed a dance that would be appealing and entertaining to the audience. The viewers loved these two and pulled them through.

It was so obvious that Laila wanted to be on DWTS. It made ALL the difference in why she did so well.

These two "really connected" from Day One. Laila is still my favorite from all the past seasons

Mike Rinta is right up there with Doug Beavers and Jimmy Bosch (two great trombonistas). Pacific Mambo Orchestra is definitely a must see at Cafe Cocomo on Monday nights.

This orchestra is "off the hook".... or as Ismael Rivera would say "Por La Maceta". They're GREAT to catch live and dance to at Cafe Cocomo. To me it's like being back in the NYC Palladium Ballroom. Monday nights come alive with PMO.

Pacific Mambo Orchestra takes me back to the "old days" in New York City.... when Machito, Tito Puente, and Tito Rodriguez ruled the Palladium Ballroom. It is indeed a great honor to have this fantastic ensemble in the city of San Francisco.

@Sheila5307 .... Definitely one of my favorites as well. They flowed so well in this Cha Cha. Maks' expression at 1:12 says it all.

I agree with most of the positive reviews but it's missing "something". Don't get me wrong... the choreography is great... but it's missing passion. The girl shows "some" but it's mostly mechanical, like a "well-oiled machine". I find that passionate dancers make a great deal of eye contact .... ...

The Cha-Cha requires constant foot movement. The less you do, the worse it look because two steppin' just won't cut it here. This is one dance that can't be "dumbed down". Hopefully, she will pick up the pace if she wants to last a few weeks.
