What is Al-Hidayah and what do we do?

Al-Hidayah is a large group of young active people that work to organise large scale Islamic events across the UK. The team is a department of the famously known and influential Islamic organisation, Minhaj ul Quran International. This particular department of Minhaj ul Quran has been assigned the task to organise events around the UK for young British Muslims.

Our events take place at well-known universities and private venues with youth attending from all parts of the UK, many European countries and North America. We invite the most elite Islamic scholars from around the globe to speak at our events and share a speck of their wide spread knowledge and understanding about Islam. Furthermore, the events organised by Al-Hidayah are often joined by members of the Parliament, Journalists and leaders of public sector organisations.

Our highly experienced and hard-working volunteers market the events nationally. Videos of our events are then produced into DVD's and sold at Islamic books shops across the UK and other European countries.


What events have we organized in the past?

• Al-Hidayah 2005 -- 3 day event with around 400 participants (Our first event)
• Al-Hidayah 2006 -- 3 day event with around 700 participants at Heythrope Park Hotel
• Al-Hidayah 2007 -- 3 day event with around 700 participants at Heythrope park Hotel
• Peace, Integration and Human Rights Conference (2008) -- 1200 participants at Second City Suite in Manchester
• Al-Hidayah 2009 -- 3 day event at Warwick University with 900 participants
• Al-Hidayah 2010 -- 3 day event at Warwick University with 1200 participants
