:Story:

The events of MGS4 were amazing, pushing each solider to his/her limits and making them realize that not only through relying on their own skills would they be able to save people but by relying on their comrades and they would make it through to the next day. Everyone learned through each other that, they weren't alone and the efforts they made weren't futile. It wasn't a war to win but a change for the future.

This project was nothing more than a pain and the ONLY reason, it turned out the way it did was because of JustMenu9, who stubbornly refused to let me put out anything that was less than perfect regardless of how many times I just wanted to give up and upload a very crappy version of this.

This is my first full MGS video in quite a while, I do plan to be making much more very soon. This video also doubles as a entry to TFP. The characters I would choose are: Solid/Old Snake (First choice) or Naked Snake since they are two different characters. :)

0:25-0:32 - Auron watches Yuna change from the summoner Yuna to the person she is now.
0:32-0:41 - Auron appears to Yuna in the farplane, briefly before busting into pyrefiles as Shuyin hugs her. She wonder's if it really was him and not a memory.

If you really watch this then watch the "Our rage - Auron/Yuna" ...It's like a prequel! :) I just noticed that after I made it.

(1) - If Auron was an unsent, he could easily capture the memories of other pyreflies and sees Yuna's first dance by capturing one of them later.

(2) Bluest skies, in this piece, means the perfect marriage, symbolized by the supposed 'perfect' marriage of Rasler and Ashe. *waves Basch/Ashe flag and hisses at Rasler*

(3) The lies Auron has told her, about it would be alright, when she started her sending of the Aeons. It wasn't alright, and he was sent to the farplane, leaving Yuna to wallow in misery.

(4) When Yuna was being married to Seymour, Kinoc held the gun to Auron and Yuna became angry at the fact, she had only brought him trouble, so she decides to throw herself of the building if they don't stop. Also, in Auron's pov, it show that he loves her regardless of what would happen to him.The kiss wipe off scene shows both Auron and Yuna are ready to fight to be together. The Yuna opening her eyes in full color shows she was remembering that.

(5-Chorus in general) "Clouds will return" are showing that problems will arise again, like always. "Storms will race in" Life will never be peaceful since something will always try to cause a disruption. "Safe in my arms" Yuna will be safe with Auron watching over her from the farplane.The "rains that will pour down" are Yuna's tears and the waves that crash around symbolize Yuna's sendings of the past, present, and future.

:Story:

Basch is seen as a hero that will never fall by both King Raminas and Princess Ashelia. They know that despite the hardships of battle, he will never surrender and he will always be there to protect them no matter how far he has to travel to do so.

Yet, Ashe knows that he can perish in battle (he will come back on a crimson tide, dead or alive) but hopes he won't, not like her dead husband. She even suggests to her father to build a statue of him for all of Dalamasca to look at with pride.

She has seen many soliders go with Basch but he returns alone, carrying back what's left of them. Even when he goes to Arcahadia to serve Larsa in his brother's place, she knows that he will return from there since he won't keep away from home. At the end, when Raminas and the others are studing maps for an invasion, Basch returns much to many people's surprise.

*Has hints of Basch/Ashe and Raminas is not dead, nor is Vossler.*

When I was making this, I couldn't tell even with the short loops of previews I had, of how it would look and I hated the way it did look. I didn't change many things from it but still I couldn't see all of it together and having the impact I wanted, yet when I finished it and saw the whole video together. I love this video despite it not being exactley how I wanted it.

I had issues with it since Movie Studio didn't want me to cut any Basch clips, so I had to work around the parts that would shut the program down. I really liked this one (even though I'm very critical of my work.)

(This is an continuation of FFXII, RW has not happened.)

It has been many years since Basch began serving Lord Larsa in his brother's place but his heart longs for Dalamsca and to serve the Queen. His promise to his brother holds him back from deserting Larsa and he remains loyal to him. It was only the day that Basch was given orders to lead the invasion of Rabanastre that he questioned that loyalty.

Would he follow his promise to his dead brother or would he return to his knightly vows of swearing his life to Lady Ashelia? As the war rages on and he finds himself with a moment of peace within the dreaded battlefield as he sees Lady Ashe ahead, a piece of the Dalmascan flag floats to his hand and he remembers his oath the his lady. With renewed determination, he backpedals and charges through his own men as Balthier comes in at the nick of time to cause a distraction with his flying.

Basch arrives at Larsa's side and quickly defeats the guards running to him. Larsa takes up his own sword and in a matter of seconds the battle is over...

[ S T O R Y ]

While exploring a exotic location, Lara encounters her old friend, Solid Snake or rather now, Old Snake. It seems to be a pleasant reunion until the two embark on a journey, each for their own benefit but their paths crossed often so it was best to be together again.

Snake watches as the Doppelganger attacks Lara and jumps into help. He ends up injured in the process and as Lara bandages, she jokes about how when they were younger it was the same way. She takes off, the road calling her with more leads on Thor's Hammer and Belt. Snake goes on his own way, taking a machine to Naomi in hopes that it will help her cure the Foxdie.

Meryl disapproves of Snake and Lara's relationship but she wasn't the only one, everyone was suspicious of the two. To be in it for their own benefit was clearly not the best match. He rushes to meet Lara, she has found ancient artifacts that could have benefited both of them and journeys across the ocean to meet her. Meryl approves of it for the moment, she can keep both under surveillance here.

Snake tells Lara that she should go back to playing on the playground and leave the hunting for the adults but backs off when she threatens him with the Hammer. He belatedly states that he was being sarcastic, he knows he could never go leaping across gorges to find treasure. He knew that together, they were a great pair despite Meryl's suspicions.

He knows that Lara only hunts to find about her mother's death, she was never the same after that day. When she finds Excalibur, he leaves her to her own devices, she had her own agenda. However, on his end, Meryl was pursing the attack on Ocelot who had recruited the help of Natla and Amanda. Meryl orders the attack on the boat just as Snake looses contact with Lara. She activates Thor's weapons and returns to the surface of the ruin that was the center of the battlefield.

The Doppelganger attacks Lara but Lara's shots were too slow to strike the creature; it dodges and Snake is shot. He falls to the ground and Meryl in anger and shock orders the soldiers to attack Lara who is stunned. She flees onto the nearby tanker after the Doppelganger with Meryl and the soldiers close on her heels.

Snake is alive and grabs his gun but he can't move from the wound. The boat is set afire from the explosion of the tanks inside but Lara is determined to get revenge. She races up the sinking Tanker and attacks Natla inside the cage. Meryl takes this shot and shoots Lara from behind. Snake has barely managed to catch up just in time to catch a glimpse of Lara before she passes on.

Months later, Snake knows his time is limited. He could not find the cure for Foxdie and his only hopes were gone. He would soon become a walking biological tank. He does not stay for Meryl's wedding but she knows there is no bad blood between them. In the graveyard, on the grave of Big Boss, he takes his life to save the rest of the world.

Had a story when I started it, lost it, got it back halfway through it. Still don't know how I managed to take a relatively happy song and turn it into this. This was actually finished about a week and a half ago, JM9 previewed it for me then and I only got around to putting in the transitions and such today.

But this pairing oddly fits, at least in my mind. :D So enjoy the new crack pairing of Old Snake and Lara. Hopefully the first of many to come. 8]

Not much else to say about it. Writing these stories takes all the wind out of me.
