Ok, I adore the Budahist, Its the purest form of worship. It is not a religion its a way of life... and i follow the buddhist The Four Noble truths, the Four Noble Truths were the first teaching of Gautama Buddha after attaining Nirvana ("Awakening" or "Enlightenment") . They are sometimes considered to contain the essence of the Buddha's teachings:Life as we know it ultimately is or leads to suffering/uneasiness (dukkha) in one way or another. Suffering is caused by craving. This is often expressed as a deluded clinging to a certain sense of existence, to selfhood, or to the things or phenomena that we consider the cause of happiness or unhappiness. Craving also has its negative aspect, i.e. one craves that a certain state of affairs not exist. Suffering ends when craving ends. This is achieved by eliminating delusion, thereby reaching a liberated state of Enlightenment (bodhi); Reaching this liberated state is achieved by following the path laid out by the Buddha.

I love words. I love books. I love reading. It is my way of escaping the world, Beauty or greatness in literature as in all art (and physical beauty in our 'objects' of sexual desire) lies in the eye of the beholder. For some that beauty will only be contained in the works of the established literary canon. I know that as much as enjoy the chick lit I read it is something of a guilty pleasure: to switch on only my emotional intelligence and escape; not to learn about war torn Afghanistan, not to re-engage with the horrors of the Holocaust or the lives of people in Tehran: sometimes I need my escapism to be just that: a trip to world where I'm guaranteed a happy ending. I make my book choices based on my proposed emotional capability in the coming few weeks it will take me to read it: recently and probably the impetus of this meandering mouthful, Literature can be great, bad, indifferent and miraculously life changing: but as to which book falls into which category I don't' feel it is for me or anyone else to quantify. Literature is as diverse as humanity itself: what a reader brings to and takes away from a particular work is as individual as that reader: and there, within the endless pages that stretch across time, place and culture;is perhaps the very quality that makes literature great.

A inspirational story:
James Dean introduced himself to Alec Guinness outside a restaurant, he asked him to take a look at the Spyder. Guinness thought the car appeared 'sinister' and told Dean: 'If you get in that car, you will be found dead in it by this time next week.' This encounter took place on September 23, 1955, seven days before Dean's death.
