Sikhism is the newest and the most progressive thinking religion in the world. This is one religion which gives a status of equality to all, irrespective of cast and creed. Also here is a religion which is devoid of all taboos.

I am very proud to be a Sikh and will always be thankful to Akal Purakh to give me a chance to be a sikh.

Being a sikh means love everyone, hate no one. It also means practising a unique Bhakti preached by Guru Nanak "Grihsthi Main Bhakti" meaning fulfilling all earthly desires yet keeping yourself one with God.

To be a sikh is to believe in Shabad Guru. The essence of sikhism is very lucidly summed by by Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur as "Jeh Ghat Simran Ram Ko, So Nar Mukta Jaan, Teh Nar Har Antar Nahin, Nanak Sachi Jaan"
