How long was your hair before you got them?
About 4-6 inches long in various parts of my head. But keep in mind, after it was backcombed and twisted, it shrunk up to about 3 inches.
Why did you decide to get them?
I'm a relatively low maintenance person. The main reason I got locs is because I don't like to mess in my hair too much. Also, I thought they would fit my awesome personality.
Did you start your dreads yourself?
Are you mad? I can't twist the back of my head to save my life. I got them started at a hair salon.
Do you wanna be my woman?

Hey i love your video's its great to hear what you feel and your very insperational! i have had long hair my whole life and my hair isnt just hair it means something alot more. my hair is like part of who i am and i really want dreads and have had too for a long time. I am white so my hair type is different so im worried i wont like my dreads. but i really dont want to cut my hair. im in a very tough position and was wondering what you thought.
