  I don’t think so. I am a 6’, 180 pounds blue collar worker and I can handle it quite well. It’s not so much of the recoil as is the Report from the muzzle blast that you have to get used to.

  Besides accepting S&W 460, it also shoots 45 long Colt and 454 Casull if recoil is a factor.
