Mission Statement:
We create opportunities for low-income artisans around the world to build profitable businesses inspired by handmade traditions. We offer access to new markets, business training, eco-effective processes and design innovation through a network of partners to promote sustainable growth and community well-being.

This year, ATA worked with over 18,000 artisans. The collaborative relationships between ATA and its artisan partners can be measured monetarily, with over $30 million in retail sales of artisan goods leveraged annually- much of it in new, demanding markets in the US and Europe.

But our results can also be measured by the impact of the additional income earned. Artisans invest in health and education for their families, in strengthening their businesses, and in the economic vitality of their communities. Through ATA's work, jobs are created, houses built, children fed and educated, and most importantly, hope, pride and optimism are restored.
About Me:

Mission Statement: Aid to Artisans, a nonprofit organization, offers practical assistance to artisan groups worldwide, working in partnerships to foster artistic traditions, cultural vitality, improved livelihoods and community well-being. Through collaboration in product development, business skills training and development of new markets, Aid to Artisans provides sustainable economic and social benefits for craftspeople in an environmentally sensitive and culturally respectful manner.
