I believe Johnny Maestro wrote this song. His version has a softer quality, less edge. Both are good oldies.

@DFbighair Dawn, I was 72 in October, 2011. But we are all young chicks in our minds, especially when Jay sings. Interesting to see the wide range of ages in love with the man.

This is the first time I've really heard all of the lyrics. It's so fast moving, and the music is great. So by the time I was ready to move on beyond the lovely words I had stopped to enjoy, I had missed two lines. It's good to find it here and more fully enjoy it. Thank you for uploading this!

There is an English version of this on Youtube, shown as a green label. Does anyone know if that's Jay Black? The background is the same, and it sounds like Jay's voice, though not as forceful as this one.
