Save face? far from it, I simply make it a point, that you are a meer child, with a obscure personality... You speak of fabrications and media-driven musicians, as if you were an all mighty music sevant , you judge Nirvana solely on popularity, you are the typical 17 year old kid, who sways away from the crowd, and thinks of themselves as different or unique, I am pretty sure you liked Nirvana up untill the point you realised that it was music for the masses, because before then, you said it yourself you were simply obessesed.

Oh and I never bought into anything, I was listening to some of your favorite bands when they were tragically unpopular, times were very different back then, I am latino and growing up you were either into rap, hip hop, or R&B... Music that bombarded my community because they wanted to categorize us as black, there was no Youtube, Itunes, limewire, or even statiions that played bands like The Smiths, The Pixies, Joy Division, DM, New Order ect ect... You had to be a true fan of the Mod and New Wave sceen to listen to there music, searching threw records stores, asking your buddies if they can burn you a tape, shit like that, thats why your critic on music is so blured, everything is so accessable to you... like I said nothing exceeds like excess.

Here's some advice, dont judge bands on personal experiences, your x-obssesion with Nirvana is probably what ended your like for the band, remember the saying nothing exceeds like excess, well, those words came to mind, when reading your comment. Im no fool, ofcourse its a teen magnet band, but that says nothing about Nirvana. Being melancholy, depressed, disheveled ect, ect... Is a feeling, we as humans experience from time to tim,e untill we meet out maker, and although teenagers(such as yourself) go threw them frequently, its a part of life, and Nirvana addressed it.

Funny how 17 year old kids, like to give an opinion about music they have no idea about. Go look up videos on Youtube and gain knowledge, since thats the only way children of this generation tend to learn. Kurt never sucked, moron!
