@hujson77 TKD is fine. People who practice WTF are practicing a sport and you should bear that in mind when they come up against people who practice a pure martial art form. If the Taekwondo practitioners were ITF then we'd see martial artist vs martial artist and not martial artist vs someone...

I also do TKD in the UK under the T.A.G.B. I've often wondered if America's love for the sport side of TKD has ruined it reputation for self defense. I've no idea how much SD the WTF course includes but I guess that also varies from club to club. I get the impression most martial arts are/can ...
