Afrika Eye Film Festival showcases films that tell stories told by African and diaspora voices. Bringing together local African and Afro-Caribbean communities with international figures in film, music, and dance, Africa Eye aims to offer an insight into African culture both on and beyond the screen.

This year, Afrika Eye 2010 is all about South Africa: what happens in between the teeming townships and the swanky suburbs we see on TV? Celebration and critique, inspirations and warnings - this year we're showing you a South Africa you don't yet know.

Afrika Eye 2010 takes up residence in Bristol's Watershed cinema from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st October 2010.
