WELCOME TO MY CHANNEL where it is all about a most wonderful indie band from the late 80's and 90's.Below I placed part of a text from one of the better introductions I found on the internet, at the bottom you will find a link if you want to read more.
When The Sundays hit the British indie scene in the summer of 1989, they were heralded by the press as the next Smiths. While they didn't share The Smiths' ambitions of world domination, they rvlet?certainly proved to be one of the most original and innovative bands of the 90's and they quickly became indie heroes. Their sound is airy, ethereal, driven by shimmering melodies and jangling guitar atmospheres. Harriet Wheeler's high-flying soprano is loose, boundless and beautiful, and her husband David Gavurin's gleaming guitar work boasts a similar soaring feel, free to glide across the songs' laid-back energy. Their presence has been completely personal and unconcerned with passing trends and fads in the highly flakey U.K. music market. This reflects in their rather sparse album output, as they've released a total of three full-length records since their 1988 formation. Yet their international fan base remains unfettered, as they've managed to win a place in the heart of nearly every thinking music fan.... Want to read more go to: http://www.angelfire.com/in...

During the "Static & Silence" UK and U.S. tour, Kevin Jamieson played the second guitar, he also worked on the album, sources say percussion work and/or hammond piano. He is an old friend of Harriet and is the lead singer for Jim Jiminee.
1. Where might I find a pic of Harriet with her hair DOWN? Never seen one. A sight not bestowed on the profane, that the goddess saves for her spouse?...
2. Who is the 2nd guitar on stage? Does he play on the recordings, too?
Glad to see you are so passionate about a band
