When "The Transformers" (G1) originally aired, I used to tape each episode and watch it back several times that week until the next one aired. I kept them all and didn't tape over them. I liked to frame-advance thru the transformations to see what was going on.

When I had the figure, I'd check to see if they "got it right"; if I didn't, I'd watch to see how they worked. Of course, I was well aware that they often cheated or got it entirely wrong, but it was cool to see them in action.

In keeping with "fair use", its my intention that these clips be a resource of analysis, comment and discourse about the cultural phenomenon that is Transformers.

I also try to post a few unusual or unique items if I come across them, particularly things people might not have seen before or might not be common knowledge. So, don't be surprised if you find a few strange ones posted as well. I'm also open to suggestions, but don't take it personally if I don't post your request.
