I Am A White, Educated, 27yo Michigan Guy Born & Raised - A DIY'er - I Am From The Flint Area & Have Been Here 99.5 Of My Entire Life. (I Lived In Texas For A Short Period & I Could Honestly Say, I Would Move Down There If It Was Possible For Me To Do So)
Speaking Of The Time I Spent In TX, It Made Me Think About One Of My Dreams I Wish & Would Love To Travel, Very Often, I Dont Care To Much About Other Countries & Such, I Just Want To Take In Each & Every Bit Of The USA As I Can.
For Instance The Brief Time I Lived In TX, It Seriously Felt As If I Was Living Another Life In Another Country I Felt Great, It Felt Great! It was if I had literally left behind most of my past life (which really was great at the time) on earth [MI] & had become this new person. Maybe one reason I enjoyed it so much is because I LOVE excitement, change, the world, people, & the outdoors.. That & instead driving in, sliding on, freezing my ass of, & shoveling snow, I was laying back in the pool enjoying some cold beer, viewing the girls, & calling home to mom just to hear that it was a freezing blizzard out & dad was out trying to clear the drive way.
What do I do & or like to do?
Well Ive always been majorly into anything to do with vehicles of all kinds Im a welder, Body & paint tec., Mechanic, Home & business Refinishing Tec, Nursing student/worker, etc I love custom & classic vehicles, I love building & creating one of a kind works of art Im a perfectionist, I have to have everything perfect & use the best products everything with me is always quality & if its not, then its not done & I wont be happy until its finished Right. - & most of all Im a DIYer like I said, Most of the time these days I just work for myself, doing my own thing. & to show how much I need to know & how much I need something perfect Ive been going to college now since 2003 & I dont plan on ever quitting.. I love learning new stuff, better ways, the RIGHT way, etc.. I plan to add to the list & Ill try to finish all of my current degrees first, but courses & degrees I have taken & worked on to date include Auto Mechanics, Auto body & paint, Metal fabrication, welding, business AND as a backup career for when business is slow in these fields & what I started with, is an associates degree in nursing/RN (Ive been working in the nursing field since 2003) & by doing this, it helps me to not become to bored, which I do have a problem with, I need to have something interesting, educational, or new to do all the time..
One of my real passions is extreme & intense sports, racing, etc.. Up until 2006 I was intensely into street racing I loved it & I still do even tho I havent for a few yrs. Ive had quite afew extreme vehicles/bikes, but one of them that I loved the most was my street bike 2002 Suzuki GSXR1300 Suzuki Hayabusa, black on black, purchased new & custom built it. Street racing at speeds up to 200+mph, it was & still is one of the most exciting & favorable times in my life. I do plan on getting another & most likely it will be the same GSXR but this time I expect to install a nice little turbo onto it, among other custom mods.
Well Ive said enough Im sure, not like I expect anyone to read this, I guess I just felt like typing a little & my fingers kept flowing across my keyboard, & even tho there is much, much, much more I could say about what I enjoy in life, Im going to end by saying..
On top of everything else I am just a cool laid back guy.

I really enjoy YouTube, instructables.com, & any other sites that show others how to do anything & everything, & are educational. I have always used them [mostly YouTube] for education, how tos, etc & I would consider sites like YouTube to be my #1 means of media entertainment, education, & research.

Automotive, Outdoors, Art, Photography, Hangin with friends & doing what ever intrests them, learning anything new, Anything Outdoors, Fishing, Camping, etc.. out of everything tho I'd say i do more fishing than anything else, I would fish every day if i could. (Watching these survival shows online, "Man vs Wild, & that other one where he does nothing but whine & talk to his camera" But it got me thinking, Every so often & i'd like to soon, I should just go out in some woods near by, somewhere near a good size lake (& theres quite a few here in Mich.) & just live off the land for a week.. It would be cool to meet & Find new friends who would be interested in such an idea, even if for a few days.. SO, if anyone reads this & is in the area or would like to just live off the land for a week, i'd be cool with me.. I've got the outdoor/woodsman experience being an avid hunter & fisherman, I'll spend days deep in the woods in northern michigan, altho them times i'd bring my own food & such. The longest i've stayed in the wilderness with someone else was 8 days, longest i've spent campin/fishing/etc myself/alone was 5 days.. but then again, even tho i do camp outdoors in the woods, i always have brought/purchased food..
